What Is Heating Tube

 

Heating tubes reach high temperatures within seconds, operating at up to 1500°C (2732°F) with a wavelength emission of 1.6 emissions. Halogen heaters contain halogen which reaches a temperature of 2600°C (4712°F)

Tungsten as resistive element is capable of generating temperature in excess of 2750° C. Its response time is very rapid in 1 second it emits over 90% of IR energy. The quartz envelope allows transmission of IR energy and protecting the filament from convective cooling and corrosion.
