Pungent

Cause analysis: it may be that the water seal height of the floor drain is not enough, which is very easy to dry up, causing the odor in the drainage pipe to flood into the room.

Solution: first, there may not be a water return bend in the floor drain, just add one into it; Second, change a floor drain of the same brand and specification. However, during construction, be careful not to damage the waterproof layer. In addition, it should be reminded that in use, the water seal should be prevented from drying up, and water should be injected regularly. If you leave for a long time, you'd better seal the floor drain with a cover.

Overflow

Cause analysis: it may be that the water passing section of the floor drain is not smooth enough, and the sewage cannot pass quickly, or because the internal structure of the floor drain is convex and concave, it catches dirt such as hair and fiber.

Solution: the height of the floor drain is determined by the pipe layout of the drainage system. Therefore, the height of the floor drain matched with it should be within 200mm and 120mm respectively, and it must be drained laterally. The commonly used concealed installation methods are local sinking pipe laying of toilet structural floor and bedding pipe laying of toilet. In order to meet the requirements of toilet net height and ergonomics, the sinking clearance of the former is 300mm, and the cushion height of the latter is 170mm at the highest

Seepage

Solution: open the floor tiles around the floor drain, dig out the cement around 3cm deep, and then seal it with "plugging spirit". After 1 hour, conduct a closed water test to observe whether it still seeps. If it doesn't seep, it means it is restored to its original state.
